Rustic Blue Library Table

I just snapped a few pictures of this cute little blue library table before the skies opened up. We're in the midst of a thunderstorm as I type. But as you can see by the dry, crunchy leaves, we surely need the rain, so no complaining here!

I love versatile little pieces like this and they are a snap to paint!

I kept it really simple to embrace the already rustic feel - some homemade chalk paint with a mix of leftover blue paint, a light distressing and  a coat of wax - done!

Super easy and super cute!

We've just started to pick the gourds and pumpkins from the garden. I can't wait to decorate with them. The other day I told Kevin that I need a field so I can plant lots and lots of them. ... Yes, a field is now officially on my wish list! ... Dreams are good!

Be Inspired Features and Link Party #86

Happy Tuesday! Welcome back for features and party day!

Elizabeth and Co.

The heat wave has returned for a few days, but there is no doubt that fall is the air. Don't you just love cool crisp mornings and the sound of crunching leaves! I'm so ready, how about you? ... Now let's check out some of this week's awesome party features...

How totally sweet is Daisy The Dry Sink from Cindy at Cottage Instincts!

This is one big beautiful hutch from Kelsey Elaine at White Cottage Boutique - wow!

Love this Steampunk Door Décor from Kim at Reposhture Studio! The pulley gives it a cool industrial vibe!

This darling chair from DIY Beautify was rescued from the trash and now it's filled with charm and personality! And Cindy is a brand new blogger. I hope you'll stop by and give her a nice warm welcome!

My friend Megan from Our Pinteresting Family is expecting twin baby boys in just a few weeks and she is ready and waiting with this beautiful nursery! I'm so excited for you Megan!

I love mother-daughter projects and this beautiful coral vanity from Pricillas is a winner for sure!

Last year they used Command Hooks to hang up jackets and backpacks over at Ms. Moozey's Open House. We all love Command Hooks, but I think this is quite an upgrade, don't you?

Emma Kate from Painted Style shared a quick and easy way to write on glass. Can't wait to give this a try!

And A Southern Belle with Northern Roots shared some beautiful fall inspiration! Have you started decorating for fall yet?

Pretty Aqua Corner Cabinet

Since I didn't get a furniture project posted last week, I thought I better make this one a good one!

I'm totally crushing on this aqua corner cabinet, pretty from every angle!

She came out of a barn, the best finds always do!
And other than a worn finish, she was in great shape!

And aren't those curves swoon worthy?

A sweet customer who bought an aqua china cabinet at a previous sale, mentioned to me at our summer sale that I hadn't used this color in a while. And my friend Ally always looks for pieces in this bright happy color, so it was definitely time to break out the aqua again.

I painted the inside of the cabinet a bright white and the aqua color is a custom mix I created from leftover paint. It's that time of year when I'm trying to use up as much paint in the garage as possible. My one rule of thumb is to only mix like brands of paint.

I'm loving the louvered doors and the contrast of the black hardware.

Ally has already given this one a thumbs up! And this little cabinet is already at Main Street all decked out in red and white for a very fun retro look. Don't you love red and aqua together? Come check her out at our fall tag sale coming up in just three weeks!

And guess what? You can now find Elizabeth & Co. on Facebook. Yes, we're pretty old school around here. But thanks to a little help from Megan and Ally, we're joining the modern world of social media. The main reason is that our local customers are asking for more photos and updates. And I want to share more work from Karla, Susan and Roxane.  Facebook is the perfect way to do that.

So, if you feel the need for a little more Elizabeth & Co. in your life, we'd be honored if you'd like us on Facebook and come see what we're all up to! ... And yes, there are even new social media buttons on the sidebar for Facebook, Pinterest, Bloglovin and Hometalk -whew- we really are living in the modern world!

Be Inspired Features and Link Party #85

Happy Tuesday! Welcome back for features and party day!

Elizabeth and Co.

Hope you all had a great week and a relaxing weekend! We were busy checking projects off the to do list. Can't believe I didn't even write a blog post. Sometimes life just gets in the way! ... But I did visit all the party links and they were awesome as usual! Here are just a few that caught my eye .....

Angela from Number Fifty-Three shared a beautiful vintage coral dresser that's going to be used as a changing table. The color came from a wallpaper sample her client provided. I so want to see this nursery when it's finished!

Kim from Reposhture Studio also shared a sweet changing table. This one started out as a rather ordinary desk, but it sure is darling now!

I know you love a good before and after. This one is unique in that the before is in relatively good shape. But there is so much going on here, it kind of hurts my eyes!

Now look how sophisticated this dresser looks in black with gorgeous crystal knobs. Reeves from The Weathered Door really gave this piece a whole new lease on life!

And look how gorgeous these curves look in black! This piece created some grief for Deborah at Confession Of A Craigslist Junkie, but she found a way to work it out beautifully!

This linen and cane chair revival from Kelsey Elaine at White Cottage Boutique is just beautiful!

Doreen from Hymns and Verses turned an old screen door into a wonderful family message center - such a cute way to stay organized!

Isn't this little yellow chevron table from Danielle at Silver Pennies just the cutest! I had no idea that you could buy chevron Frog Tape. Clearly the Frog Tape people are paying attention to what's popular in the blog world!

If you're ready for some fall décor, Katie from Upcycled Treasures has a nicely detailed tutorial to turn a book into an adorable pumpkin!

This little recipe from Charindie from Couches and Cupcakes has just three simple ingredients - cheese, nuts and honey. But doesn't it just look divine! This has book club written all over it!

And these Apple Brownies from Kyra at Caramel Potatoes look like a perfect fall dessert! I'm going to try them out at our next tailgate party!

Thanks so much to everyone who linked up and linked back!
