Pretty Aqua Corner Cabinet

Since I didn't get a furniture project posted last week, I thought I better make this one a good one!

I'm totally crushing on this aqua corner cabinet, pretty from every angle!

She came out of a barn, the best finds always do!
And other than a worn finish, she was in great shape!

And aren't those curves swoon worthy?

A sweet customer who bought an aqua china cabinet at a previous sale, mentioned to me at our summer sale that I hadn't used this color in a while. And my friend Ally always looks for pieces in this bright happy color, so it was definitely time to break out the aqua again.

I painted the inside of the cabinet a bright white and the aqua color is a custom mix I created from leftover paint. It's that time of year when I'm trying to use up as much paint in the garage as possible. My one rule of thumb is to only mix like brands of paint.

I'm loving the louvered doors and the contrast of the black hardware.

Ally has already given this one a thumbs up! And this little cabinet is already at Main Street all decked out in red and white for a very fun retro look. Don't you love red and aqua together? Come check her out at our fall tag sale coming up in just three weeks!

And guess what? You can now find Elizabeth & Co. on Facebook. Yes, we're pretty old school around here. But thanks to a little help from Megan and Ally, we're joining the modern world of social media. The main reason is that our local customers are asking for more photos and updates. And I want to share more work from Karla, Susan and Roxane.  Facebook is the perfect way to do that.

So, if you feel the need for a little more Elizabeth & Co. in your life, we'd be honored if you'd like us on Facebook and come see what we're all up to! ... And yes, there are even new social media buttons on the sidebar for Facebook, Pinterest, Bloglovin and Hometalk -whew- we really are living in the modern world!
