Susan's Paris Grey Buffet

Today's furniture transformation comes from Susan.

She found this beautiful buffet at out local Goodwill.

She knew this one was a perfect candidate for chalk paint.

The hardware was removed and painted with chalk paint as well.

And luckily the top was in such great condition that it could be stained to
maintain the natural wood grain.

Paris Grey and Old White is a very sophisticated color combination.

Just perfect for a more formal piece like this.

And here she is, all decked out for the holidays!

The funny thing about this piece is that I was also at the Goodwill that day. But this piece already had Susan's name on it. It immediately reminded me of my Paris Grey buffet, one of my all-time favorites. I've been on the lookout for another one ever since. I love this color combination and I can't wait to use it again. I think that just means that this buffet was destined to be Paris Grey and Old White!

And don't forget you're invited back here on Tuesday for our brand new link party! Sure hope you can join us!

Sharon,

I need a friend like you. My bestie just moved to Idaho, and she was the one who "gets" what I do. The hunting, the re-doing, all of it. We had such a blast together. How would I go about finding people in Huntington Beach, Calif, that share my interest?
