They started out in great shape, with just a few surface scratches.
And the brown was just a little boring.
Megan loved them too, so she offered to take on this make-over. After a light sanding, they were ready for two coats of Wasabi Powder in Behr's paint and primer in one.
The pulls were painted oil rubbed bronze. Now they really pop! Megan thought they looked like little shamrocks and that was her inspiration for the soft green color.
Staying true to the modern feel, Megan skipped distessing these beauties and just made them shine with a few coats of wipe-on poly.
What a beautiful pair of tables! Nicely done Megan!

Beautiful color and love the hardware!
These are delightful! I love the "shamrock" hardware; green was a great choice.
Hi, just popped over from Miss Mustard Seed and wanted to let you know how much I love this renovation! I also have been eyeing mid-century pieces lately and thinking about the possibilities of transformation. Thanks for the inspiration!

Megan did such a great job! Love the little pulls with the green color!
Megan if you're not busy I have a garage full of treasures that could use your flair for restyling. The tables are perfecto!
I wouldn't call myself a big fan of MSM furniture but the sleek shape of these tables and the soft color really has me sold! They would mix well with so many looks now.

Those came out beautifully - I like that you decided against distressing. The pulls are amazing and great color choice. Thanks for sharing.
Much better than the boring brown! Like the green a lot better
I just love the style of these tables! The color is great and agree -- distressing would not have suited them. Did you apply the paint with a brush or roller? The finish looks so perfect!
I love everything about those tables!!! The pulls are awesome! Great job!!
What a lovely color! And the knobs are great. How great that you have a pair of tables. Nice job, Megan!

these are gorgeous! love them :)
They look great! I love the color. Featuring tomorrow at my linky party. Thanks!
Love 'em! There's just something about a bit of MSM that gets my heart going. Perhaps it's the feeling that my grandparents could have owned something like this ... and we all love our grandparents, don't we.
Hey lady bug, I just wanted to let you know that I am featuring you today,
Cheri
These are great! Especially the hardware.
