Cottage Charm Giveaway Event

Happy May Everyone! May is definitely one of my favorite months of the year. It is finally starting to look and feel like spring is really here and all my favorite flowers bloom in May. Every single day you can see the greens becoming brighter and the gardens are bursting with life. I think May is just a happy month!




And Kim at The Twice Remembered Cottage is throwing a May party. It's the fifth annual Cottage Charm Giveaway Event. From May 1st through May 29th bloggers will be sponsoring all sorts of giveaways that represent Cottage Charm. This is my first May as a blogger(May 30th will be my one-year anniversary!), so I thought it would be fun to join in the fun.








So for my giveaway, I thought I'd share one on my Burlap and Ruffles table runners. I gave one away when I reached 500 followers (thank you!) and I got such nice comments. I thought it would be fun to do it again. And I think my runner definitely represents Cottage Charm.





You can read the complete tutorial about my Burlap and Ruffles table runner here. It is approximately 16" wide by 52" long. The top is made of burlap and the back and ruffles are made from a soft drop cloth. And you can even choose the color of your choice - sage green, chocolate brown or natural .

    This is adorable! My favorite month is probably December because it's my birthday month and by then the weather is usually cooler here in Florida.

    i think my fave month is october... (it would be september if i were still in new england).... because i love the smell of fall leaves, the sound they make crunching under my feet, the colors, and all the fun fall activities i can do with my family.

    It's a toss up for me I love April, the Texas bluebonnets are out, my hubby's and two of my son's birthday are in April. I always think of my mom, her birthday was in April. We always took a wildflower viewing trip when I was growing up for her birthday.
    I also love Oct., that is the month I have a birthday. It's getting cooler and I love Fall colors. It's getting close to Thanksgiving which I love!!! Hmmmm I'll go with October. :)

I love the Spring - flowers and sunshine, but I love the summer and the freedom and time with family, but I also love winter with the gorgeous snowfalls and celebrating Christmas, oh, and then there is fall - lovely colours and cozy cool nights with a fire.

Although I detest winter and I know it follows close behind Oct. here in the midwest, I can't help but love the colors, going to the pumpkin patch with my grandkids, baking fresh apple cakes and halloween popcorn balls.     I'm a new follower. I love your table runners -Strangely I really like all the seasons- Spring is great - flowers, baby animals, my older son's birthday, our wedding anniversay- Summer is filled with Sundays at our local lake, holidays, fresh local produce & flowers at the market. Fall- Our younger son's birthday, fresh corn, warm sunny days with cool nights for sleeping, halloween. Winter has Christmas , baking , celibrating a brand new year, quiet time for reflection & my birthday. Love them all!

    Hi there. I am a new follower of yours. Actually came across you by accident/chance/fate you choose. I was at my repurposed life viewing the felt rosette tutorial and clicked on your link. Then just had to read how you created the subway canvas art (which by the way i plan to make as i have all the supplies) loved the personlization. Then saw the burlap and ruffled tablecloth and runner. I just purchased some drop cloth for a small chair that I want to recover and add this to the very bottom, have something else for the top. I would love love to actually win the runner and then try to make my own table cloth to match!

    My favorite time of year is now till July. I know its excruciatingly hot by then but my little.girls birthdays are in June & July and I just love them planning what they will do on that special day with their friends and family. It constantly changes each week for months and their imaginations can get pretty creative and lavish, I must say. I also love the sun, flowers in bloom, butterflies and bumble bees everywhere spreading their beauty. It just makes me happy.

    I love July for the long summer days and daylight into the evenings.     I just became a follower! My favorite time of year is Fall. I love halloween, probably because my birthday was 9 days later and it felt like a really fun, really long birthday!

    I Love the Runner, just gorgeous! My favorite rime of the year is from Thanksgiving until New years. I love the decorating, everyone is in a jolly mood and I love to have company in my home.

    Hi, I followed! My favorite month/time of year is May and spring. May because my birthday is in it, yay!! and spring because winter is so depressing and to me spring indicates life overcoming death. besides, fall is pretty, but you just KNOW cold is just around the corner *shudders!*

    Very cute! I love that natural color also. My favorite time of the year...fall. It cools off after a brutal Texas summer, and the leaves change color. Greatness!!
