The pretty pink blossoms inspired the mantel design for our tag sale.
We loved the yellow version too.
It inspired our kitchen table design. But we kept it simple to let the beautiful table take center stage. Can you believe that Susan found this table in an alley waiting for the trash pick-up? She had to call a friend to come help her get it in her car. A lovely lady bought the table, the hutch in the background and a sage green table runner. She wanted the ironstone pitcher too, but that was from Megan's wedding and not for sale. Just goes to show how much of an impact a little staging can make.
The Pottery Barn Happy Easter eggs are super cute too. And Susan came up with her own version for a fraction of the cost.
She started with two bags of paper mache eggs from Michaels.
And gave them a coat of creamy acrylic paint.

The eggs look adorable. I agree they look good just sitting there in the egg carton, but I also like PB's version with them hanging too.

Love that Pottery Barn! Terrific idea with the papermache eggs, then you can use them year after year. I do believe the hard boiled version wouldn't hold out that long! Happy Pink!
The eggs are adorable:@)
Sharon, definitely one of my most favorite projects linked up this week! Your eggs were so beautifully done -- sophisticated and timeless!
Thank you so much for bringing such class and creativity to "A Little Birdie Told Me...".

Love this idea, especially since the eggs do not have to be blown out as had first thought. Adding this to a must do list.
