This sweet little desk came from an estate sale.
Maybe it was the pink on the back, but I knew she was meant to be girly.
So I went with classic white for a Shabby Chic look.
I wanted to keep the white nice and bright on this one, so I went with just a light distressing and no glazing.
But she definitely needed pretty glass knobs.
Perfect spot for a laptop in a teen girl's room, don't you think?
And that's exactly where this sweet desk ended up!
This room belongs to Liz. I love the bright, happy colors! And the chair was a tag sale find that Liz recovered herself in a fresh black, white and just a touch of pink fabric. So pretty! Liz lives in my neighborhood. Maybe I need to recruit her to join Elizabeth & Co.!
Thanks for sharing your room with us Liz!

Beautiful makeover! The glass knobs are the perfect finishing touch.
I love what you did with that desk. Just gorgeous. I linked over from Cottage Instincts.
That looks awesome! Love the knobs!
I have a very 1960's maple desk that was part of a boy's room set. I have been tinkering with the idea of painting it white and changing the knobs...now I know I will for sure!
I love it! I have a little desk like this as well...pretty much doing nothing in my basement. I've never done much furniture-painting myself, but this makes me want to try!
That looks so great in white and I love your pick of knobs.
I LOVE this! It would be PERFECT for my daughter! I would LOVE for you to link it up at
