Sugared Pecans
4 cups pecan halves
1 egg white
1 tsp cold water
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
Beat egg white with water until frothy (a fork will work fine). Fold in pecans to coat well. Add the sugar, cinnamon and salt and fold again.
Spread on a cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir once or twice during baking and again once you remove the tray from the oven.
These freeze really well so you can make them ahead. And they make yummy gifts throughout the holiday season. Enjoy!
I am thankful for the time you take to spend here at Elizabeth & Co. And your friendship is greatly appreciated!
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope it is shared with the people you love!

Happy Thanksgiving Sharon...enjoy your day with your loved ones.
These sound yummy. I've had them in a strawberry spinach salad at a restaurant recently and it was amazing!
these are wonderful. We have them on our table this year and they are almost gone already. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
I've never heard of these before (I'm English!) the recipe looks great.

delish -- love sweet and salty (ok, who doesn't?) thanks for blog hopping with the mortal muses!
ahhh sounds so yummy!
SO thrilled that you posted this! We often crossed the border to shop in Mexico - they made these nuts on the streets and they were amazing! Now that border shopping is now discouraged, I can't get these any longer! I'll be making these THIS week! -diane
These were great I don't even like pecans
Well that sounds easy enough! So glad you shared this. I do love these but have never made them. Thank you for entering my giveaway. Following you.
My daughter made something similar to bring to my house for Thanksgiving...Delicious!
I don't normally comment, or like pecans... but I'm doing both today...
mmmmm I've never made them, but I love them! Perhaps this is the year for me to try making them. I bet they would make nice Christmas treats.
Hope you had a wonderful holiday.
Thanks for joining us on the blog hop!

My sister makes some spiced nuts but these look good too! Little bit sweeter. Always a good thing.
Yummy! I can almost taste them! :)
Thank you! looks yummy!
I had to come back and find this recipe! I've got the same folks coming over for Christmas, and they have dropped hints about how much they LOVED your pecans. Guess this is going to be a regular treat for the holiday! God's blessings to you!
