This sturdy little bookcase just needed a back and a fresh coat of paint to bring it back to life. I love any chance I can get to use beadboard. ... Hmmm, good thing we had some rope in the car!
Megan picked a color combination of Custard and Bedford Gray from the Martha Stewart line of paint at Home Depot.
Pretty combination, don't you think? I already have the perfect spot for it. And we love to read, so we'll have no trouble filling the shelves!

it looks so pretty and i love the beadboard backing- very cottagey! this piece would look so cute in a bathroom! where is she using it? and i definitely thought from the last pictures of megan in your last post that she was in high school and not old enough to be mnarried!!! gosh, how old have i gotten???? apparently so old that i think 20somethings are in high school!!
