Black and Gray

Have you ever been inspired by something really simple? I found these really cute little black knobs at Marshalls. Yes, Marshalls. You just never know.

I decided to try a new color just to go with them - gray. I've never painted a piece of furniture gray, but I think it's definitely a keeper!

This color combination would work almost anywhere!

  2. Like the gray! Question: did you paint it flat, or is there some distressing here? I couldn't really tell....
It's also a great shape for cute little table! well done.....

  3. Pretty! Subtle and soft. I will have to consider gray for some of my projects. The knobs, they are so cute!

  5. I love comments! And questions too. I almost always use semi-gloss paint. In this case I did a light distressing. And I like to make my own glaze, mixing a clear glaze with paint I already have, usually black, brown or white, but colors are interesting too. I'm trying to experiment a little more and your feedback is a big help. Thank you!
